Musarrat Misbah is a Pakistani entrepreneur, beautician, actress, and philanthropist. She was born on November 25, 1959, in Karachi, Pakistan. She attended the Shaw College of Beauty Therapy in the United Kingdom in 1980. Musarrat established the Depilex Smileagain Foundation, which is a non-profit organization. In the 1990s, she acted in dramas on PTV. In 2010, she received the Pride of Performance award for her contributions to medical treatment and financial aid provided to female burn and acid attack victims. Musarrat also received an award from the Italian government on Women’s Day, making her the first Pakistani woman to receive the honor. Musarrat was married to Amir and has two children. After their divorce, she gained custody of her children. Her younger sister, Nighat Misbah, is the Director of Depilex.

Musarrat Misbah’s entrepreneurial journey started with the establishment of her beauty salon named Depilex in Lahore, Pakistan, in 1980. The salon quickly became popular, and its success led to the opening of several more branches in other cities of Pakistan, such as Karachi and Islamabad.
