Wardha Saleem is a Pakistani fashion designer and entrepreneur. She was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and grew up in a family that was involved in the fashion industry. Saleem graduated from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi with a degree in textile design.
After completing her education, Wardha Saleem launched her eponymous fashion label in 2010. Her designs are known for their vibrant colors, intricate embellishments, and fusion of traditional and modern elements. She has showcased her collections at several fashion weeks in Pakistan and internationally.
In addition to her fashion design work, Wardha Saleem is also a social activist and philanthropist. She has worked on various projects aimed at promoting education and women’s empowerment in Pakistan. Saleem is also the founder of the Wardha Saleem Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting education and providing healthcare to underprivileged communities in Pakistan.
Saleem has won several awards for her contributions to the fashion industry in Pakistan, including the Lux Style Award for Best Emerging Talent in 2012 and the Designer of the Year award at the Hum Style Awards in 2018. She has also been recognized for her philanthropic work and was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2015.
